Public EngagementOur Contributions
We plan to measure the Guildhall in several different locations allowing for blending between different positions. Some more avant-garde ideas are recordings from outside the building.
We plan to compose music or use extracts of music specifically designed for the exploration of acoustics.
We plan to develop a system to allow users to explore the acoustics of the Guildhall, controlling their position in relation to singers. Download the app now for Windows or MacOS.
We plan to run workshops with singers to discover how a changing acoustic can effect a singer's ability to perform. These will be informed by experts and contributors to the project.
We aim to develop accessible teaching packs to deliver to Level 3 students, focusing on Music Technology and the topics covered by the project.
